The Physiotherapy department at GTTH excels in its significance by offering the most effective intervention regarding the health gain of patients by providing an exclusive individual based computerized physical assessment and home plan to indoors and outdoor patients.

GTTH is the pioneer in starting the “Home Plans” for exercises.  

The department is equipped with:

		Tens
		EMS
		Stimulator
		Cervical Traction Unit
		Ice Therapy
		Wax Therapy
		Phonopheresis & Iontophoresis

35-50 patients are attended daily on outdoor basis. Beside indoor patients from Orthopaedic and Spinal Surgery ward and patients in ICU, Surgery, Medicine, Paediatrics, Neurosurgery and Gynaecology wards are attended and provided the cover.

Following is the variety of categories attended.

		Orthopaedic cases mainly postoperative care and rehabilitation of knee. hip, and shoulder Arthroplasty, Arthoscopic surgery, ACL - Reconstruction and Spinal Surgery patients as well as Deformities and Rheumatic cases.
		Neurological cases like stroke rehabilitation MND, peripheral nerve lesions, cerebral palsy etc.
