Department of Ophthalmology (Eye) was initiated in the year 2000. Department has a Professor of Ophthalmology and fully trained, qualified and competent staff. The department is headed by Prof. Khalil Rana. The teaching staff includes.

Every staff member has some special interest and prolonged experience in one or the other sub specialties of Ophthalmology like cataract, glaucoma, squint, oculoplastics or posterior segment (retina/vitreous). The department offers general out patient’s clinic (OPD Room # 6) six days a week, There are three operation lists in a week. A continuous emergency cover is provided round the clock.
Eye OPD fully equipped with all needed diagnostic instruments. The Operation Theater has all conventional surgical instruments.
