Hepatitis "C" is much prevalent in Pakistan, especially in rural areas. Diagnostic facilities are expensive & far from reach of masses. Same is the case of treatment which is costly and need supervision by hepatologist. Keeping  this in mind Gastroenterology department and administration of GTTH in collaboration with Pakistan Bait ul Maal has launched hepatitis C clinic where following facilities will be available free of cost to poor & needy.

• All investigations including PCR Quantitative & Genotype tests and the monthly tests of CBC, LFT's
• For naive patients we will have standard interferon 3 m/u to be given 3 times/week.
• For naive/ non responders/ relapsers we will offer pegylated interferon 180 mg weekly.
